Our 0.1mH-2.0mH audio speaker crossover cast inductors are made with copper foil and paper-in-oil dielectric, providing several benefits for sound quality.
Copper foil construction allows for a size reduction and more efficient use of winding space, as well as improved heat dissipation and mechanical strength compared to wire-wound components. The cast process ensures that the winding will maintain its shape and provide consistent sound quality over time. These inductors are commonly recommended for speaker upgrades to enhance the quality of bass sounds.
