Pair Of Upgraded Hypex NC500 Evaluation Boards with OPA1612 opamps and HxR VRs. These boads have been upgraded by our RCVTech technicians as follows:
– replaced stock 7815, 7915 VRs with Hypex HNR12 and HPR12 discrete VRs
– replaced stock OPAMP LM4562 with OPA1612
These above changes resulted in improved performance and terms of THD and dynamic signal presentation bringing NC500 to NCX500 level.
Pair of Hypex NCX500 RCVTech MPA1200 mono blocks with Sparkos SS3602 buffer stages, 700W@4ฮฉ. RCVTech MPA1200s in silver, made in Canada. This model is a custom edition based on NCX500 Class D amplifier module with a 1200 Watts power supply and Sparkos SS3602 discrete opamp buffer stages. We have tried the most of the discrete opamps available on the market and this one seems to be working the best with our mono blocks. The buffer boards support “opamp rolling” so the currently installed ones scan be replaced with either IC or other discrete opamps. Please, see these units actual measurements in pictures.
