D in Class D doesn’t stand for digital. It is just a letter. The technology is still very much analog. Class D amplifiers do not all sound the same. Just like with Class A, AB, G or H classes, the sound quality of any amplifier depends on the overall design, power supply, quality of the assembly, materials etc.
We try and test all new Class D modules available. The modules that we offer in our amplifiers go thru many rounds of objective and subjective testing i.e. we measure them and do extensive listening tests.
